Hot Baiting Period

1 February - 30 April

1080 is a very effective bait against foxes and rabbits.  For effective baiting, it is desirable that landholders bait at the same time.  Autumn is an ideal time to bait as young foxes are spreading across the landscape. For information on how to get accreditation to use 1080 baits for both foxes and rabbits, go here.
